No longer in school, and yet still sitting in class & I'm bored so I'll post some interesting stuff.

The xx is coming to MTL this Friday. I must now admit that I'm more excited to see Warpaint. Seriously I'm horribly excited! Not to mention that Zola Jesus is also extremely talented so overall this concert better be amazing. With Warpaint's new album "The Fool" coming out in late October (25th or 26th), it's safe to say that I'll have more than enough new music to keep me alive on my city bus rides.

Also wanted to bring some more attention to a really great artist Brian M. Viveros. Does pin-up style portraits. I'm jealous of his skills and use of colors. He's got a show opening this Saturday @ ThinkSpace Gallery . If I could fly there I would :)

So Montreal has some really legit music events such a Jazz Fest & Osheaga (which was great this year). One festival, so to speak, is more under the radar. At least from what I've seen maybe because it's not an outdoor venue type thing but more so a myriad of indoor shows @ different venues. It's called POP Montreal.

It has some cheap shows (some are 10$) which is a big WIN in my book & some extremely interesting talent. (Already have my ticket to go see The xx.) Be sure to check this festival out!
